2. Do you have children’s and adults’ treatment?

Yes. Our psychiatrists are trained to treat all ages with varying treatment for children, adolescents and adults.

4. How do I make an appointment?

You can call for an appointment at our office or fill out our contact form on our website. Our staff will guide you through the process.

6. Can parents participate in the treatment of their child?

Indeed. We are respectful of the role parents and caregivers play in the child’s mental health process and invite their active participation if it is pertinent.

8. Is everything I share kept private?

Yes. Your privacy is safeguarded as per HIPAA guidelines. Everything and all the medical history discussed is kept confidential.

10. Why is therapy different from psychiatry?

A therapist focuses on talk-based techniques whereas a psychiatrist can diagnose disorders and give medication as necessary. For comprehensive care, we frequently combine the two methods at ABM Psych.
